Question Warn M8000 vs. T-Max EW9000

I've got a few hundred bucks to spend on a winch and I'm somewhat torn between the Warn M8000 and the T-Max EW9000. I've heard good things about both and I'm leaning towards the T-Max since it seems like I'd get a little more bang for my buck...

Anyone have a reason why I should go with one over the other?

Cool, thanks for the input!

How you gonna mount it? You getting a plate or a new bumper?

Ah, good question...

I'd love to try to make it work with the Stock Stubby, since I really like the look of it. The problem is that I'd want to mount it in the bumper and not on it, like inlo did. Unfortunately, I don't have the skills that inlo has and I'm a little wary of mounting the winch upside-down. I was actually thinking of offering WOL some cash for that LOD prototype he's got lying there in his den. I'm not exactly sure what's "prototype" about it. I know it won't fit the Powerplant winch, but the T-max is tiny compared to that....

Hey, Eddie! Wanna sell that LOD prototype?
