Default Dick Cepek Mud Country...Opinions?

So I've been checking with local tire shops and I can get all 4 Dick Cepek Mud Country's 315/75R16 (35s) for $855... Is this a good deal? How well do these hold up over time? How loud are they?

Looks like a great deal. They do make some road noise and ride firmer than the stock 17's . I have about 12000 miles on them and they still look new!

I have heard nothing but great reviews from people who run them and for that price I would jump all over it.

I've got to resurrect this thread. Need ore info on these tires. I pretty much had it narrowed down to the Nitto Mud Grapplers or the BFG KM2s, but now my buddy can get me these Mud Country tires through his work for about $800 for all 4. Should I go with these or spend the extra $200 or so on either the Nittos or the BFGs? And if I spend the extra cash which are preferred, Nittos or BFGs?

BTW, I've read a million threads on both tires, I know about the road noise, I really want to know which will be best on-road (80% of my driving), especially in rain and snow, and still do good when I hit the trail?

Hell, I'll even add a poll to see the consensus. Thanks to everyone who can help me pick.

You should spend the extra two hundred on a 5th tire.

You actually make a pretty good point. I was just planning on buying 4 for the time being, but now I think about it, it would make alot more sense to buy all 5 at once.

I agree with this. I would make sure you got the spare to match for the price of 4 of the others.
