Default Need some info about lifted 2 door jks

I just recently bought a white 2 door rubicon. I am wanting to put a three in lift with 35 nitto muds but when I talked to my dealerships tech guy he told me not to because my jeep factory esp and the rest of that stuff will cause things to break all the time. He told me that they have already took two lifts off jks they lifted because of so many problems. He said if I had a Tj lift it and I wouldnt have problems. I just want to know some problems i might have if any. He told me to wait for a computer chip that corrects it. Why is he telling me this? All the places I have called have been telling me different things.

so many people in this forum has 3" lift and more, and no problem. If you do it correctly, you should be fine. WOL is an expert...he'll chime in

I, as well as a cajillion other people on here, have a 3" lift with 35's and haven't broken anything. The Esp activates once in a great while on a cloverleaf ramp, no big deal. I notice it happening less with my hard top off. (less top heavy I think)

I have the FT 3" econo lift with an adjustable front track bar and zero problems. I would like to add adjustable control arms in the future but just to move the rear axle back. Ill probably leave the front control arms stock. Keep looking around and reading on here before making a decision. There is a lot of information on this website you just have to find it.

According to a reputable 4x4 shop here in the Front Range, Poor spring and shock design/selection in some kits will cause excessive body roll which will trigger the ESP.
