Default Question about TeraFlex 2.5" BB Install

Sorry about the confusion on the thread title..I meant TeraFlex kit!

Okay so last weekend I installed the 2.5" TeraFlex BB. Overall absolutely LOVE the install...ride quality was maintained and gave me perfect clearance for my 295/75 (33.5") tires. Write-up from here was spot on and VERY MUCH appreciated. The only question I have is it looks like my front bump stop extenders were either the wrong parts shipped to me, or I didn't understand the install. It appeared the install write-up didn't match the part I recieved.

I will post pictures soon, but basically:
1) What risk am I running currently without the front bump stop extensions?
2) It appears per the install write-up that the front bump stops should be shoved up into the location of the factory front bump stops and then the factory bump stop inserted into the TeraFlex extension, is this correct?
3) The front bump stops I received was a circular piece with a screw in the middle, it is wider then the receiving tube that the front bump stop is inserted in, does this sound like the rght piece? Again I will post pictures soon...

Thanks,

If you go wheeling without them, you run the risk of rubbing your fender flares at a full flex and quite possibly over compressing your coils.

Yes, this is how my kit came but from what I've been told, TeraFlex ran into a shortage of these extensions. What you have are extensions for a 3" kit which is totally fine.

3) The front bump stops I received was a circular piece with a screw in the middle, it is wider then the receiving tube that the front bump stop is inserted in, does this sound like the rght piece? Again I will post pictures soon...
What you need to do with these is place the puck on top of your lower spring perch, use it as a template to locate where you will drill your hole, drill out the hole with the appropriate size drill bit and install it with the self-tapping bolt that comes with the kit.
