Question Anyone running 35's w/o spacers?

I just got my wheels/tires in:
Tires: Pro Comp Xtreme AT 35x12.5R17
Wheels: Pro Comp Xtreme 17 x 9 w/4.75 backspacing
I am waiting to get my lift (FT 3"). I have no ordered spacers and was wondering if I had to. Is anyone running basically the same setup w/o spacers?

Also, I know many of you put in a 3" FT lift. About how long did it take you. I'll probably wind up doing it myself.

With those rims, you won't need spacers.

Cool

That was a quick response. Thanks Igofshn; I wasn't sure about the configuration. Thanks again bro.

so in which cases would you need spacers? i've never been a fan of spacers so i'd really like to go with the correct rim. i guess i'm looking for somewhere around 4.5" backspacing and i've heard that 15" rims will require spacers.

anyone run 16x8"s with 35s? i like lots of rubber so don't want to go any bigger on the rim. thanks in advance

i guess i should mention that i'm planning on the 4" superlift kit.

If you run stock rims, you'll need spacers.

Thanks for that answer. There were many of us that were confused w/spacers.

Still curious on my initial FT 3" lift question. Roughly how long did it take any of you to install the lift? Did anyone do it themselves?

What FT lift is it? Econo/Premium/Ultimate?

A friend and I installed an Ultimate in about 20 hours, but we have never done a lift before and we don't have an impact wrench which would have probably sped things up.

Premium has 4 fewer control arms, and Econo has many many fewer components (I've heard that one is like a 4 hour job).

It's the econo lift and I have every tool imaginable (2 impact guns [electric and cordless]). I have done a 4" lift in my 93 YJ, however, that took longer than expected because of all of the rusted bolts. I am looking forward to installing a lift in a Jeep that has no rust... that's a treat. I am planning on getting the adjustable track bar eventually. I am so busy and need to figure out when I can install the lift. It's probably not 4 hours, but I am figuring it should not take me more than one day doing it by myself. Thanks for the info. I could also use a second opinion if anyone has got one.

I'm not sure how long it took to install (rubimon can probably answer that one) but here is an installation write-up for the Full Traction 3" Economy Lift
