Default 16" or 17" rims for 37" tires

Which rim size allows for more selections when it comes to 37" tires? From what i've seen it is easier to get a 37" tire with a 17" rim. Seems like the brands of tires are limited for a 16" rim and 37" tire.

17s will give you more tyre options.

I haven't seen very many 37" tires for a 16" rim. Seems like a 35 (315x75x16) is about the largest for the most part. The ones I did find were a Procomp Xtreme A/T, and some from Interco.
