2.5" BB + Spring Lift, can it be done?
Ok, this might be a dumb question, but I gotta ask anyway. But can you install the 2.5" BB lift with a 3" suspension lift, or any other suspension lift where you get new springs? This seems like it could be done without problems and I haven’t found anything against it, nor for it either.
The reason I ask is because I’m thinking of getting the BB now and a 3” suspension later with the idea of ending with 5" total lift. But I don’t want to have to chuck/sell it when I get a suspension lift. Not to mention have to spend more money on a 5" lift plus the lost of the BB expense. If I could combine the 2, that would be better because then I can get a 3" lift, and that plus the 2.5" already there, it'd be like getting a 5.5" lift for less money.
So can they be stacked together? Or can you only have one lift on at a time?
Guess if they can’t be put together, I’ll just keep saving for a 4”or 5” lift.

Are you planning on running 37's? Because with 5.5" of lift, that's what you would be able to clear. Although stacking the 2.5" spacers on top of 3" coils can be done, I have to tell you that you are really looking at a lot of lift especially if you're keeping your factory control arms or pretty much any short arm kit for that matter. Also, at that height, you would also need to address other problems that a taller kit would offer like longer swaybar links, extended brake lines, dropped pitman arm, longer shocks and new drivelines just to name a few things. IMHO, I think you'd be better off just selling your 2.5" BB kit and using the money to buy a better/more complete 4"+ lift. But, that's just me.

Honestly I think you should save the money for the lift you want and buy it now. You will be happier and have spent less money in the long run. You know you are going to want more lift, so get it to begin with. So you may have to drive around stock for a while, big deal.
