Default Need help w/ a gear swap? 373 to 410

Hi, i have a jk 4 door w/ 373 gears and want to swap them out to 410. Do you anyone in my area that will do it right?? I live in Columbia, SC...... I ask the dealer but they act like they don't want to do it or say it cant be done??? Also what can i expect to pay to have the conversion done?? Any help would be great.... thanks!!!

First of all, I think 99% of the people here and anywhere will tell you it ain't worth the $ if you're only gonna go from 3.73 to 4.10. Maybe 3.21 to 4.10 or 3.73 to 4.56, but that swap you're looking at is alot of money for little increase in gearing.

That being said, if you're never gonna go above 33" on the tires, then 4.10 might be enough... but then again, so would 3.73's.

As far as what it'll cost ya. It depends on your local market. Expect about $200-$300 or so for each diff... plus gears and install kits.

Let us know what your plans are for your Jeep and you'll get better advice.

got at least 4.56 or save the $$$$ and sorry I don't know anyone in your area... if drive to Tampa I know a few places lol

as mentioned, it really isn't worth the money. i'd save up until you can run bigger tires and then go 4.88 or even 5.13.
