Default Front Bumper Mounted my High Lift Jack

Pretty straight forward. Only odd thing was I left out the front outside bolt on both mounts as I would have had to go through the tow hook mount under the bumper skin. I did need to substitue slightly longer bolts and I placed 1/4" plastic washers between the plastic bumper and the steel backing as it does not sit tight on the steel support below. Using 4xRac's bumper mount:

(it's not resting on the tow hook)

If I ever do a winch it will have to go through the bumper, or I'll get a aftermarket bumper.

Yes. Through the plasic bumper cover and and a thin piece of steel backing. In this location I did not penetrate the frame rails.

Yeah that's a drawback. I keep it greased up pretty well so that it doesn't rust.

I didn't care for a lot of the roll bar mounted options as I'm often putting cargo in the back and didn't want it in the way. The rear gate option is kinda nice, doesn't offer any protection from the elements, and I prefer the look of the bumper mount.
