What is the difference between a coil, BB,and suspension lift? Any pro/cons of each?

Thanks,

Thanks,
- A coil lift is a suspension lift. The coil lift will have longer springs (coils) than stock and will account for the height of lift that you purchase. Many different heights and options (control arms, dropped pitman arm, etc...).

- BB (Budget Boost) is usually describing a less expensive lift such as a coil spacer lift. You use spacers between the frame of your Jeep and the stock springs to achieve the desired lift. Usually 2.5" and less.

- Body lift is just what it describes. You use spacers to lift the body of the Jeep off of the frame to the desired height.

Many forum members have been very happy with thier BB and have taken them on difficult trails with great success. From what I have read on here (no personal experience) you may experience sagging with aftermarket bumpers and winch with the spacer lift.

Good luck.

The coil (suspension) lift is not supposed to sag as much (any lift will sag with added weight)and the off-road capabilities are endless.

People usually get a body lift for additional clearance for larger tires (35's and up).

There are so many variations, makes, models etc...for lifts that it takes time to research what is right for you. Took me forever to decide on the right lift.
