Default What 4" TeraFlex lift should I be looking at?

I just got an 09 JK Unlimited.

I've decided on a TeraFlex 4" lift, but don't know what model I need/want.

They have a 4" with shocks, a 4" with flex arms, a 4" with lower flex arms, a 4" with long arms, etc.

I'm new to the Jeep world so any help between the different models would be greatly appreciated.

The retail price on the 4" with shocks is about $500 less than the option with flex-arms. Do I need flex-arms, is there a problem running the basic 4" w/ shocks?

All depends on what you plan on doing with it

Stop in and take a look at mine. I have the 4" LA with 37's. Big question is what size of tire do you want to end up with?

I went with the Teraflex Elite 6" long arm lift and couldn't be happier. The 4" long arm is their top of the line 4" lift. The flex arms allow for custom pinion and caster angles in order to allign the Jeep the right way. From my understanding, the long arm kits come with the flex arms but the long arm kits move the attachment points of the control arms back on the fram to allow for better flexing while off road. As far as shocks go, you can really use any brand you want so if you already have some in mind that you want to use, buy the kit that comes without shocks. If you don't have any you want to use, then the Teraflex shocks are fine.

I've been heavily researching lifts lately and if I were to go with TeraFlex I'd get the 4" full flex arm or the 4" LCG Elite LA. I'm in the same boat as you as far as wanting a 4" lift, and I want to run 37s.

The issue with me is $$$, I would love the LA kit but it is more expensive and requires welding. I don't know how to weld and would have to pay for the install which would be even more expensive. I know the 4" full flex arm is a great lift though and would not disapoint. WOL has a write up on it too, check it out.

P.S. If any one lives in NorCal and knows how to weld, likes beer, and wants to get some benjamins for your time...... I'll be back in the states and wanting to install a lift in a few months!

That one is good but the one with the FULL flex arms is:
http://www.teraflex.biz/products/jk-...rm-system.html

The Elite LA kit is:
http://www.teraflex.biz/products/eli...th-shocks.html

The kit you linked would still be great, it all depends on how much wheeling you plan on doing and how much you are willing to spend.
