Default Winch mounting plate for Or Fab front bumper w/ fogs

I recently bought and installed the Or Fab Front stubby with my factory fog lights and love how it looks. Great fit and finish, very nice welds, I'm impressed to say the least. Super easy install, all the bolts lined up, couldn't be happier.

Anyway, I removed the factory front bumper and all the plastic covers and now between my bumper and the grill, there is that space that would be perfect for a winch mount. I was looking at the WARN winch mount, but it says it only works with the WARN front bumper. Anyone know why this is?? It looks like it would fit in that area because the new ORF bumper is flush with the top of the bumper mounts, making it basically a flat surface that looks like it shouldn't get in the way. If this indeed will not work, does anyone have any suggestions? I am saving for the winch, so I have some time to figure it all out.

If you look at these pics below you can sort of see the space I'm talking about...it's the space left behind once that little "dust cover" or whatever it is is removed between the front bumper and the grill.

Here are some pics. Sorry about the quality...cell phone pics in a parking garage.

Also, I did a search and found some people that have fabbed their own winch plate and one that used a TJ winch plate...any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

while you can probably can just fab something up or use a basic winchplate and attach it to the top of your bumper, you should definitely try to reinforce it to your frame rails somehow.
