Question LOD tire carrier question

OK i just installed a LOD bumber and tire carrier and when i put on my spare, if i use the hole on the far outside my tire doesn't sit up against the framework and lets the tire move a little, but if i move to the middle hole I don't think my lug nuts will suck the wheel all the way up to the mounting plate.I plan on puting in on the middle hole and just fabbing up a spacer plate to put between the wheel and mounting plate but before i do this i was wondering if this is normal or if anyone else has had this issues and if so what did they do with it.

I figure it's because my backspacing on my wheels is 4.25"

I have a similar problem. My tire touches the bumper while using the far outside hole and this causes a squeak. I'm going to fool around with some washers to see if I can get the tire off of the bumper, if not I will try a wheel spacer.

Mine sits further and moves a little, had it like this for 6 months now with no issues.

I replaced the 5/16 bolt it came with and put in a 3/8 bolt which helped with the tire movement. my tire is touching at the bottom but not at top.is the bracket that bolts to the carrier angled a bit and i have it on upside down maybe??
