Default 285/75 R16 Xterrains on stock JK

I found a set of 285/75 R16 Pro Comp Xterrains that I'm thinking about getting. From what I have found on here they should fit ok, maybe a little rubbing. Would I need spacers with stock wheels? Also, anyone familiar with this tire? What is your opinion of them? My jeep is a daily driver. How do they do on the road? How is road noise and how do they perform off road?

Thanks

Most of the shops around my neck of the woods refuse to mount a 285/75R16 on my the stock 7" wide rims. Most tire manufactures spec 7.5" or 8" as the minimum rim widith for that size tire. I went with the 255/85R16 and have been very happy with them both on and off road.

Not using the brand in question, but have the Trxus MT on Cragar 16x7 rims and even aired down, I never had any issues with them.

I got the Xterrains. Mounted and balanced yesterday. No rubbing at all on the street. Hopefully the lift will go in next month.
