Default Help-water in rear fogs

I went wheeling the other day and now have water in my rear lights on my LoD rear bumper!

I figured it would eventually drain out on its own, and most of it has, but it's been about 2 weeks now and there is still about an inch of water in them. Anyone know a trick of how to get the water outta there?

not sure how easy it is to get to... but if its not difficult, remove the bulb, stick a twisted piece of paper towel in to soak some up... repeat....

use sturdy absorbent paper like paper towel, not something weak like TP... don't want that clogging up the fog light.

reinstall the bulb...

guess that would work

Here's a little trick I used when my motorcycle tail light would fog up. I drilled a tiny hole at the bottom and it never fogged again. Maybe if you did that the water would drain out and not take so long to go away.

Yeah, the problem with that is the LoD bumper has to be completely removed to gain access to teh rear lights since they sit inside the bumper. I was just hopin for a way to do it without removing everything!

They manufactured a bumper with lights installed, but in order to replace the lamps, the bumper must be removed?
And people are buying this bumper?

Im bumping this thread because I have the exact same problem.... both my rear lights have water in them..

Maybe LoD or WOL can chime in and give some insight..

Looks to me Like I am going to have to remove the entire bumper/carrier to do this..
WOL can you edit your write-up to include a line with something like, "if you plan on taking your JK into deep water, it will be a good idea to drill a small drain hole in the bottom of the light before mounting the bumper."
That way other people dont have the same problem I and the OP did.

Thanks
