Cool Lift opinions

Hey everyone I was going to go with the 2" mopar lift for my 09 jk but have been thinking of going with the skyjacker 4" instead. The 4X4 place by me only does skyjacker. I read some reviews that aren't good. Does anyone in here have a skyjacker 4" and if so how do you like it. Thanks for your in put.

I have heard reviews too about SJ'er but can't speak from personal experience. Which I opted to go with Rough Country.
I can tell you that my brother n law put a 3.5" SJ'er on his with 35's... And he gained 5.5"... He said had he known it was going to be that tall, he would've opted to go with a 2.5" lift.

x2 on the Rough Country, good price/performance. Teraflex is also well regarded, though bit more expensive than the Rough Country.

Don't know anything first hand about SJ but there is a big difference in a 2" lift and a 4" lift, and I'm not taking about height.

With a 4" you will want to change your control arms too, if they aren't included in the kit. You'll also be looking at driveshafts if you have a two door and a front ds in a 4 door if you wheel it. You'll also need track bars with a 4" lift where you can get buy without them with a 2". If you go 4", make sure your kit has what you need.

I have the SJ 3.5" lift and got well over 4" which drastically changes how it handles on road, now I have to get a new pitman arm and trac bar drop bracket to compensate. Xtra $ I would not have to spend if I had gotten the RC 2.5" lift which is a true 2.5"'s and nothing more . Other than that the springs are good but in the year I've had the lift the shocks have rusted. So I'm either gonna get the RC 2.5" or stay with my springs and get pro comp or rancho adjustable shocks or throw bilsteins on, but if I had to do it over again I would not get Skyjacker!
Just my dos centavos (2 cents)

every single person i know who has or had a sj lift regrets getting it and/or has since gotten rid of it. their track bar relocation brackets will tear off your factory mounts and their bushings will fall apart on you. trust what you have found so far and steer clear of their kits.
