Default Finally have the cash for front driveshaft

Finally have the money for my new front drive shaft for my 2 dr x with 4" of lift. Je reel sells a direct bolt on shaft using oe flanges and sells one with new flanges. My question is what's the difference? Are je reels flanges better than stock? With the direct bolt on I would do it myself and save $ on install. What is the difference between the 1310 and 1350?

Also I am gonna get a drop pitman arm and tracbar drop bracket (frame) who sells a good setup for that? I currently have a BDS adjustable trac bar and am hoping the bracket I get would work with it.

Do I need a drop bracket as well for the rear as well?
I also run a BDS trac bar there. Thanx

I have one, just sent it back after 2 mos. My 4in Superlift is apparently too tall in frt as max extended lenght at sitting is 37" and mine is at 37 1/2in. I talked to Jim Reel and he's gonna see what he can do. Your skyjacker would probably be ok though. If I had it to do over , I'd make an hour drive and get a shop to build me one. It is a fairly easy install . Useing a rachet wrench on the upper flange will make things go quicker, can't get a socket on them.

when i got my new rear shaft i was told that je reel doesnt recomend their oe replacement shafts for jeeps with over 2" of lift.. so probably better to get a 1310 shaft... or 1350.. whatever.
