Default Nth degree 3" lift

Was looking at getting a 3" lift to put 35 under my 09 rubicon unlimited auto. Anyone have one of these Nth degree lift from AEV. Im looking for a kit that will be really good DD kit. When i called AEV yesterday he was telling me that theres a suspension engineer from JEEP working there. And that they do a lot of on road testing and offroad testing. What turned me on to this kit saying to my self that its probably a really good kit was the bilstein shocks... If anyone has one of these submit a picture. Thanks some answers would be good before i pull the triggggggger on this..

Default AEV nth degree

I have a 2dr rubicon, I'm very intersted in hearing if anyone has installed this kit? I've read many posts on the pro's and con's ! Of course I'll be getting some lower front control arms, perhaps extended brake lines. Still looking for some lower front shock brackets (welding is not a problem). Lets hear from onyone who has installed one of these!!!!

this is a kit that is relatively new to the market and so you won't be finding many if any people with real experience using it. if you go this route, i would ditch the cam bolts that it comes with and opt for a set of adjustable front lower control arm instead. also, if the bilstein shocks are a selling point for you, they can be purchased separately with just about any 3" kit available today.

The cost of the kit seems too expensive for whats included in it

I was also looking at that kit and for a while it was on the top of my list. Once I really started to go thru this forum and read up on the net a little I decided to go in a diffrent direction. Once you eleminate the cam bolts (which is the only option for me) the cost just seemed to high for what you get when you compair it to some of the top brands out their. Don't get me wrong as I like AEV's product. I'm going to pe pulling the trigger on their hood early April (waiting for the painter I want to use to move his shop) and am in line for the frount & rear bumper when they release the rear. I also agree with their stance on a long arm kit for a JK.

I do like the Procal they sell. I would get that regardless of what kit you end up with.

personally I wouldn't want anything a "Jeep Tech" worked on. For the money there are many equal to and better kits out there

This is just another thing to baffle JK owners: if AEV is the benchmark and cam bolts are bad, why would they include them in their kit?

I think if it was another $400 for adj. control arms, they would lose many customers to long arm kits.

If AEV is the benchmark, as you said, and they include cambolts to adj. caster, I think it should be noted how important proper caster is to these vehicles.

I may be wrong but aren't the Rubicon Express shocks also Bilstein's just rebadged? Every manufacturer says their shocks are valved specifically for this lift/this jeep. I would be curious to find out exactly how they go about determining valving.
