Default Noob suspension lift question.

I am in the market for a lift for the JK. Since it's going to be my dd, I don't need anything hardcore, however I might like to take it offroad a time or two.

As far as tire sizes, I'd like to run a 35" tire, and I have pretty much gathered I need about 3" to clear the 35's.

I've been looking at the Rusty's kit with the Rancho shocks, the Rancho kits (however I really don't understand the difference between the sport and the arm kits)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Go with the 2.5" Teraflex lift.

the sport kit comes with coils and relocation brackets. the short arm kit comes with new control arms. both are actually a very good kits.

I am open to all ideas. I was specifically looking at the Rusty's kit or one of the Rancho kits...

Yea, I know. Follow the forum for a while and you'll see how no matter what the question, someone will jump on with a sales promotion answer for Tereflex. I think they have a great system, (one may be in my future) don't get me wrong, it just seems too many people are following along like sheep. If you had ask, "what kit should I buy", then the door would have been open. You ask a specific question but I see it's hard to get a specific answer from most.

Good luck!

oh come on. there are just a lot of people here who are extremely happy with what they got and are eager to let people know. no need to get worked up over a little enthusiasm

for whatever it's worth, i will state once again that the rancho kits are very nice and i honestly don't know why more people don't give them a harder look.
