My opion of the terible crapplers is pretty bad. I had them on my jeep for a while. I sold them for almost nothing with only a few thousand miles on them. They rode rough, and hydroplaned on every little puddle. I won't ever run them again.

The tera grapplers may have a quieter ride on the HWY, but the goodyears have a more agressive tread, and so should provide for a much better offroad experience.

The Terra Grapplers are the best all around tire I have owned. Fantastic on highway, rain, snow and pretty darn good on ice. Offroad they do well in anyhting but deep mud. I have over 35k miles and 1\2 the tread left. The ride on mine is nice....I can only assume that some ran too much air in them

I'd look around for something else all together. I've had many issues with Goodyear with there passenger and light truck tires, sworn them off years ago.
Just bought a set of Terra grapplers, not the best ride, although the noise is relatively low. not noticed any issues with wet roads, wont buy the Terra grapplers again.

I've only had the Duratrac's for a week, but they have taken me through snow twice and wet conditions a few times last week. I love the look and thus far they run great. Quiet and the look is just what I wanted, a x between MT and AT

The duratrac is easily the most attractive of the two tires.. in my humble opinion. The 35K mile with half the tread is also fairly nice with the Terra's. I would be willing to be you will be happy with either.

Are you going to run the stock tire size? I looked into the Duratrac with a 285/75R16 (33"x11.5") size, but noticed it had an "E" load rating. Spoke to a guy at the tire store and said that should only be run on a 3/4 to 1-ton pick-up thats towing heavy loads. I think as long as its a "C" or "D" load rating, the either tire will ride fine.
