Default about to replace stock Rubi coils with OME 'Standard' Duty

I have a 4 DR Rubi -- only mod I originally made was a 2' BB to cut down on skid plate abuse. I'm more into overlanding than rock crawling.

After adding front/rear Mopar bumpers, front skid, winch + tire carrier, stock coils are getting taxed and starting to bow out a bit at the base, with only about an inch of upward travel before contacting the bumpstops.

So, with my desire for minimal lift of only 1-2", but enough stiffness to handle the added weight, I ordered the OME 616/617 'Standard/Light' duty coils and will be de-installing the BB and going back to stock + those coils.

I haven't seen anybody do that yet, just new coils with stock shocks and such, so we'll see how it turns out.

Thanks to David and Marc @ OME for answering all my ?'s.

Show pics and measurements when you are done.

What color is your jeep? I'll keep an eye out for ya. I'm in Williston.

Will do. I have measurements before and after bumper installs with the BB.

It's Red Rock.

OK, so springs are swapped. Pulled the stock Rubi Unlimited springs and replaced with OME 616/617 'Standard' duty springs. My goal was slight 1-2" lift, simiilar factory travel, AFTER install of heavy steel Front/Rear bumpers + winch + tire carrier.

Here's how the measurements played out:

Stock:
Didn't measure

With Superlift 2.5" BB, front Mopar Skid, after about 4K miles:
Left Front = 36 7/8"
Left Rock Rail = 19 1/2"
Left Rear = 38"

WIth Superlift above, AFTER install of Mopar Front + Winch, Mopar Rear + Tire:
Front Left = 36 6/8"
Left Rock Rail = 19 1/4"
Left Rear = 37 3/4"

Removal of BB, swap of stock springs with OME 616/617:
Front Left = 37 3/8"
Left Rock Rail = 19 1/2"
Left Rear = 37 1/4"
Top Front Bumper = 29"
Top Rear Bumper = 29 3/4"
Front Left Rock Rail = 19 3/8"
Rear Left Rock Rail = 19 1/2"

Measurements on Front/Rear were through center of wheel to bottom lip of fender flare. Rock rail measurements were at hinges on rear doors unless otherwise noted.
Right side measurements are almost all 1/4" lower than the left (seems standard on JK's to lean right a little due to fuel tank or whatever).

So, bottom line, I got what I was looking for. Front actually ended up higher than the original BB, before bumpers, by almost 1/2". Rear ended up about 3/4" lower actually than the BB, but by doing so most of the factory rake was eliminated, which is a plus for me (so far anyways, jury is out on that).

Overall ride seems a little stiffer actually, which surprised me a bit based on posts on this forum. Need to drive it more to see if that changes.

If you're looking for something just a little higher than stock after addition of heavy bumpers, this seems like a good option to me.
