Default Front inner fender damage

After a trip to Moab last week I found my front wheels make contact with the front inner fender (metal part) and pushed in the outer panel into the inner sheet metal. What are folks doing to minimize this? I should be able to lengthen my RE control arms a little but doubt it will prevent this entirely. Anyone verture and cut this metal back? Would love to see pics.

thanks,
Ken

looks like lengthening my control arms as much as possible and trimming this up should help mitigate this of future happenings. I also thought about welding a piece a flat steel (vertical) off my rocker gaurds to act as a shield. Don't think I can stop this 100% so at lest is wouldn't come back on the body.

your arms are definitely set too short. if set to the proper length, you should not be having this problem. even back when i was running short arms and 37" toyo's which are about the biggest 37's i have seen, i never had this problem. likewise, i still do not have this problem with my long arms.

Yes, you will need to adjust the uppers and enough so to retain the amount of caster you have now.
