Default Smittybuilt Bumpers

Hello I'm planning on purchasing my first add on to my first jeep and I was thinking of a smittybuilt bumper
http://www.quadratec.com/products/12057_1000_07.htm
or
http://www.quadratec.com/products/12057_2000_07.htm

Has anyone had any problems with any of those bumpers?
Are they durable enough?
Hows the quality?
Overall comments?

Thank You for your Help

Matt

I've seen the coating is thin and can chip if bumped into something. That's about it. Good bumpers.

I put a few coats of duplicolor spray-on bedliner on mine. Do it before you install the bumper and spray the effected area when it scrapes on something. Works like a charm.

Has anyone had any problems with any of those bumpers?
- Not me.
Are they durable enough?
- You need to me more specific. I have pushed down some small trees and other vegetation. Not tested it on a rock, but it seems pretty stout.
Hows the quality?
- It is not shrokworks. The quality it good for the price.
Overall comments?
- I am happy with it. If I had it to do over again, I would get another one. I welded on a roll over hoop so it looks a bit different than stock.

I was looking for a stubby bumper that didn't cost an arm and was winch ready. I bought this for $299 and have been happy. The coating is brittle and easy to knock off, but a can of Duplicolor will fix it right up. This bumper is thick steel and should take a beating. It is hard to install a winch onto the bumper (the holes for the winch are hard to reach).
