4 inches of lift from TF 2.5 Coil kit?
got my TF 2.5 Coil lift kit plus front and rear jks adjustable trac bars installed last week and have driven over 300 miles on them but i got 4 inches of lift all the way around. how can that be?
That's actually not unheard of, especially with stock bumpers, no winch, etc. and using both TF springs and coils. Plus, over time, the springs and shocks may "settle" which could see a decrease in height. Either way, it looks great and more height is always a good thing!!!
well i'm not gonna lie i like the extra lift. i kinda hope it doesn't shrink to much. i didn't have the money to regear my 3.21s and i just bought those tires brand new 2000 miles ago so no bigger tires for now. i still have to install my aev snorkle. hopefully i'll work up the guts to cut into my hood this week. working on saving the money to upgrade axels, get flat fenders and try to squeeze 37's. i do alot more mudding then i do anything that requires alot of articulation so the lower lift height is not that bad for me. especially since my gf is only 5'3"

I think the tera kit is the same for 2dr and 4dr. Looks like you have a light jeep (2 door, plastic bumpers, no winch, racks, armor, etc.) You know that the 2.5 is supposed to give like 3" in the front and like 2.5" in the back. It is made to level the Jeep out. Unless you add much weight I would not count on it "sagging" much. My Teraflex kit hasn't dropped much since install.
BTW, your Jeep looks great to me! 35s would be awesome on there is you are not going to install much armor and heavy stuff. I like more room in the fender well, looks more like a jeep to me. I think it turned out great! Congrats.

There is no difference in their kits for 2dr or 4dr. I also got close to 4" out of mine. With a little time and flexing it will settle down to about 3" as the OP said. Looks good and I agree you do need some bigger rubber now.
