Default 35's on stok suspension

Any one running 35's on stock suspension. I assum you would need flat fenders or trimmed finders. I love the look of the plus the x-tra ground learance of larger tires but for the type of wheeling i like to do I like the idea of the lower enter of gravity. I know this has been done on TJ's in th past. Any help would be great

Default 35's on stock suspension

Okay I have an 08' Rubi with stock suspension with 35's. In this pic you can see I am the only non-lifted rig, one other had chopped fenders and the one on the far left has 37's on there.

Here is my baby with Xenon narrow flat fender flairs, good ground clearance, I have had it at full flex with the sway bar disconnected and had no rubbing.

I like doing some light swiming....

And some mild wheelin'....

Again...no rubbing and no grinding, my rig worked out just fine with 35's on stock suspension although you have to change or chop your fenders. Good luck with your project.

ok maybe its been a long day at work. and I'm searching the forum on my palm phone but the only close pic I saw was the one from an angle. I was talking about a side shot to show ground clearance and a strait side shot. been a long day sorry not the brightest crayon in the box at the moment

here's mine with new 35s on stock suspension. Since the pic, I've chopped the fenders but no lift. I don't plan on getting a lift, as have no rubbing.

Okay, here is my Rubi all stock.

Here it is with the new fender flairs, no lift and stock rubi tires/rims.

And here it is with the 35's and still no lift and no spacers.

Remember my stock tires/rims...? Here they are on the "X" next to my Rubi.

And lastly...here you can see how far the 35X12.50R17s stick out from the fender flairs with no spacers...keep in mind that these flairs are 1.5 inches narrower than stock.

Nice. I live in Switzerland where lift kits are illegal.

GREAT info.

I didn't see what backspacing you were running? Did you have rubbing on stock Rubi wheels?
