Default Fuel doors

I've been going crazy trying to fiqure out the best fuel door to get, some cost around $69 and some $129.00, anyone had bad service out of these doors? which ones seem to be better, or should I go with you "get what you pay for approach?" And are the locking doors really worth getting? I'm wanting a black door with the screw heads and latch stainless or chrome.

I bought the MOPAR model on Ebay for < $100 shipped (Username Avondale or something). There are some Dodge/Jeep dealers on Ebay that are fair priced.

I like the MOPAR fuel door, no complaints. Part # 82210609

I got the Rugged Ridge door off of ebay for like $42 and it is great. Really easy installation and it looks good too.

Go with the Rugged Ridge. From the outside you really can't tell the difference plus the install is a breeze and the cost is less than anything else out there.

I got the RR as well, black coated SS, it closes with magnets. 4 little screws inside the door hold it on
the mopar replaces the entire plastic housing, not just a cover, that is why it is higher

I agree on the RR one. My lock is a little bit touchy sometimes, but overall it's a solid piece for the price. Four screws to hold it on makes it a snap to install.

I like the solid black look, and will bed-liner it when I get a chance.

does this screw into the body ?? or this screws into the inside of the tank section ??

I do not want to screw into the body of the jeep at all... if it can be helped...
also is the lock on the locking one relevent ? or is it just for looks ?

It screws to the inside of the plastic piece, I ran a bead of silicone inside, just in case.
I did not get the lock, because my gas cap locks and I did not want to fumble with 2 keys
