Default Bestop Dust Cover fit resolved?

I’ve spent a lot of time searching and reading threads about the Bestop Dust Cover, and I haven’t found an answer to my question. The latest information I found is from May of 2008.
Has anybody purchased a Bestop Dust Cover since then, and if so, has the Dust Cover’s fit and dimpling of the sheet metal been resolved?

I called Bestop and asked them about this and they said it has, but then what else are they going to say? I also ripped the representative for saying the JK sheet metal was too thin. Yes, it’s thin, but it’s up to Bestop to recognize this during the design process and make a cover that doesn’t damage the metal.

Has the Bestop Dust Cover issues truly been resolved? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

I bought mine around August 2008 from Quadratec, and it fits fine. I've had it on and off maybe a dozen times. No problems.

It's currently on right now. It is tough to put on under 60 degree weather, so I look at it as a spring and summer thing.

That’s good news!

I had one on my YJ and loved it. I usually put on the soft top when the average temperature hits 45 degrees until the average is around 65 degrees. Then the dust cover goes on for the rest of the spring / summer. Should work ok for me based on that.

Thanks for the info!
