Really Stupid!
Just got done with a great trail...and no damage.
So I aired up and headed home. I got home turned into the garage and felt front wheels scrubbing/wobbling.
I thought I bent a tie rod, or something else, only to realize I forgot to shift into 2WD and so I was in 4 HI on for about 40 miles going about 65mph.
What damage do you think I may have caused by this bonehead play?

it's not recomended to drive in 4x4 but the main reason they say dont is due to the different rate that the front and rear tires turn as you felt when you went into your drive-way

Your front and rear tires will turn at the same rate.
It's when you turn a corner, that the inner tire has less distance to travel but the 4x4 is trying to turn both passenger and driver tire at the same speed, even though it requires a different speed so they can travel different distances in the same amount of time. Same thing would happen if you had a full rear locker locked and tried to turn a corner on pavement.
See how capable they are??
I sometimes drive like that in the rain.
