Default Emu 2' vs tf 2.5 coil bb

Hey guys, which lift is would suit my needs better? I have debating between both of these, and have read great things about both. I want to run 35's and want the best ride possible because it is my DD, I dont do much offroading just a few times a year. I know the TF kit will fit 35's, does the EMU kit fit them as well?

I have read that the TF is complete, and I wont need anything else...How about the Old EMU kit? would I need anything in addition? both kits include shocks, I have a sahara so I have read that I should replace them..which shocks are better? They are both roughly around the same price, and am trying to get the best bang for the buck. any input/suggestions much appreciated!! thanks

X2. Call David.

These were the two lifts i considered. I went with the TF because of how complete it is, and because I could continue to use my rubi shocks with the adapters. I here OME has the best ride of any lift though, so I can't say anything bad about them. One possibility is the OME LT lift northridge put together. Looks pretty sweet.

Good Luck.

If you do a search you will find a lot of info on both. I run the TF lift and love it. I haven't had any problems what so ever, I used the shock extensions, but eventually I plan on putting OME LT shocks on to finish off the lift and give me some more flex.other than that I've been very happy with it, close to stock ride and performs well offroad.

As was stated above, a quick search on either kit will show literally hundreds of posts with all the comparison data you could want.
Or
As was also stated above, talk to the guy you have 'in your sig'...

the budget boost will give ya the best stock ride, because it keeps all the stock parts!!!
Both of the kits listed have new springs and shocks all the way around, so I wouldn't consider either a spacer Budget Boost.

But, since you say you'll only be offroad a few times a year and it's mostly just for looks and enough height to fit 35's - you could easily get away with a cheaper BB lift...

Anyway, between those two, the OME will give a better ride, but as you mentioned, the TF is the more complete kit. Lot of personal preference in the decision.

I'm also curious about the TF 2.5 BB. Just wonder if there is any difference between my Rubicon shocks versus the shocks on other models. And if I were to get the lift, will 35's still fit on my unlimited or is that only for 2dr models?

abnmo, are you talking about the TF BB with spacers? Or the full lift the OP is asking about? The lift comes with shocks, the BB you can get without, (and add your own shocks) or with shock extensions, or with shocks. You would not want to reuse your own shocks unless you add the extensions.

And when you get a chance, take a browse here if you haven't already.
