Default Xenon flares - anyone with experience painting these?

About to pick up some Xenon flat fenders. I've got a silver jeep and was thinking some type of textured black would be nice, but am concerned about flexibility/cracking. Has anyone had a good experience with any product(s) in particular?

Yeah, I've read through most of the posts that suggest Line-X. At $150 I'm wondering if there's a DIY product that will work on plastic as well. ?

hi i just painted mine... just make sure you sand them down real good and use a good grease/oil remover on them... then use a few layers of adhesive bonding primmer and few layers of base coat that i ordered to match the color.. then a few clear coats , they seam to be holding up really well.. i also had a set line-xd before and they turned out good also ..... but as far as the paint not cracking or spidering you should probably mix something into the paint to make it flexible.. but you should be alright as long as you get the oil off them . good luck ...heres a pic , cant see to good but gives you a idea , i did use duplicolor bedlinner on the black part then covered it with clear coat to seal it .

heres some with line x

Thanks! After a bit more reading it seems like the Herculiner is getting some good ratings, only concern would be fading from the sun (wife's car has priority for the garage spot - someday I hope to be able to say "the jeep won't fit in the garage").

you probably could use some kind of UV protector on the heculiner , i know the line -x has something called extra that i had put it in it to prevent fading.

thanks alote.. took alote of time.. but i was happy how they turned out.. i was trying to make the flares look alittle more narrow... because i had the narrow ones and had to get the bigger ones to cover the tires.. so i figured maybe the black on the outside would make them look more like the narrow xenons.
