On-Board Air Mounts???? Where???
i need some on boar air because they tell me that the portable compresors dont have good pressure like to use the compresor to clean dust in long trips and inflite tires just the way it shuold be.....i was wondering if you can show me some on board air mounts, like if i could put it down the car not inside because too much space or under the hood????? any sugestions????

Not really sure that's true. Most mounted on-board air IS portable compressors just mounted. Some are heavy-duty but I run a portable (unmounted) air that stays in it's little case in my recovery (off-road) box in the back of my JK and it works extremely well to air up after wheeling.
That said some mount theirs under the hood, in the back, underneath... wherever you want it to be is a good place. If I was mounting mine I would do it in the engine compartment. Now that I have a separate air compressor in the garage and don't need to use it on two different wranglers, I may mount mine. You can buy a compressor almost anywhere (Sam's, Costco, Pep Boys, Harbor Freight) and all the hardware you need to run/mount hoselines at any hardware store or Harbor Freight.

Even though I own the SPI, there is still a lot I don't know about. There are no provisions for lubricating so I think it is oilless. I don't know if it is continuous duty or not. It puts out so much air that it never stays on very long.
I had even relocated my muffler with the intent of putting an air tank there, but with the compressors output, I don't think I will.

Nice set ups. I went for a Quick Air 3 portable and I just bought a Viair 300P. Both work well if you don't do the Onboard Air. I'd mount mine in the rear cargo but theft is a concern where I park.
