Default Spacer or Coil to get what I lost back?

When I installed my rear LoD bumper and tire I lost about 1" out of my 3" Teraflex lift due to the added weight. I want it back!

My original thought was to swap out the rear coil spacer with a 2.5" And call it good. I think the one back there is a 1" (correct me if I am wrong)

But, after looking at prices and talking to David at Northridge I learned I could get 4" rear coils for $30 more. Would this be a better route. Will I gain more than I lost since TF is notorious for extra gains in their coils?

That would be my concern too. I know of some running 4" TF that ended up with over 5" of lift. This could be a good thing if you don't mind changing ds's, etc.

I'm looking at the same problem too. I still haven't decided.

I have the TF 2.5BB and lost a little over an inch on the front after hanging my RedRock bumper and Superwinch on it. I spoke with Joe at TF about the 2 1/2" or 3" coil springs - he advised due to them (TF) actually producing more lift then what's on the side of the box - to go with the 2 1/2" coils which would provide actually about 3 1/2" of lift....so minus the loss of an inch for weight of bumpers - that would put us back at the original intended lift of 2 1/2" without the need or concerns of driveshafts replacements.

Between adding a spacer and adding a coil, go for the coil. It's the same amount of work to get them in, and you'll be happier with the spring.

Get the coils. Don't stack on spacers.

I would suggest springs instead of spacers, especially on the rear.
