Default 35s on 16x8 or 16x10 Beadlocks?

Hi everyone,

I was about to order some 16x8" Champion beadlocks (C3FM style), but had second thoughts about the size... Would I be better off with 16x8" or 16x10" beadlocks with 35x12.5" Interco LTB bias-ply tires?

Thanks,
js.

8" would give you better side protection

I was going to buy set for these tyres untill I found the post below, they have 12.5 inch wide printed on the side but measured on a 8 inch wide rim are 10 3/4 wide. Take a look on interco web site it has all the measurements. You can run them on 16x7s because they are so narrow.

Would 12.5" wide tires be better with a 10" wide wheel or an 8" wide wheel, and why so?
Both wheels would take 35x12.5 R16 or 315/75R16 tires right?

Either one will work but I'd think twice about beadlocks unless you are into extreme rock crawling. Just my 2 cents.

My Champions are 15x8 and I run BFG 35 x 12.50s. No complaints from me.
