Trailer hitch ball problem w/ larger spare tire
With my stock 32" tire on the back, my boat trailer hitch clamp had BARELY enough clearance under it to fit when in the "up" position (before you clamp it down to lock it). I have a standard 8" hitch-ball bar w/2" drop.
Now that I have a 33" back there on a new rim with more backspacing which pushes it even further out and it's impossible for me to hook up the trailer since the tire is just in the way.
Anybody else out there run into this and what was your solution? 12" hitch-ball bar? 6" drop? I'm thinking the 12" bar (standard is 8") might work, but the only way for me to get one is order online which us a long way to go for trial and error.

Same problem. I went and got a stanard stock rim free from 4 Wheel Parts (since I had already
sold my stock Rubicon rims and tires) and mounted a tall skinny tire to use as a spare when
towing. Revert back to big spare when not towing.
