Default dana 30 up front but what in the rear

I have a 2007 sahara 2dr jk. I have been think about getting gears since i have the 3.21 factory but i cant seem to find out whats in the rear. I know its dana 30 up front but not sure about the rear. I read some of the 07's had a dana 35 in the rear and some early 08's. I got mine right when they came out. I called 2 dealers and the first was unsure and the second told me that they were not calling it a dana in the back but a mb44 or something like that i didn't understand. i am stupid with this stuff and new to the forum and was just looking for some help. any 07's not have the dana 44 in the back but maybe dana 35 or something different?

If you still have your window sticker, it should list both axles. If not, get your VIN number and send it in. They'll get you a build sheet. (haven't done this, but I've read you can find a link on the Jeep site to do it.)

easiest way to tell is look at the shape of it, the chart riverz posted should help, the 35 is an oval round , I believe it was JUST early 07's that got stuck with the 35.

DANA 35
Dana 35 rear axles have a 7.56″ diameter ring gear and only showed up on a few 2007 Sahara and X model Jeep JK Wrangler 2-Doors

Guess the 4door guys got lucky
