Default Top Three Lift Kits?

Hi I'm new to jeeps and I want to know what are the top 3 brands for lift kits for two door JKs if it matters? Specifically the ones for 3 to 3.5 inches.

The dealer said Teraflex
Guy in small shop say Rock Crawler
Websites say Rubicon Express

but what is a good brand for someone who isnt going to do anything extreme such as boulders and such? but more like desert trails, and sand?

The top three? Do you mean the top sellers (mostly affordable stuff)? Or the absolute best lifts you can buy (money no object stuff)?

It seems to me that the top 3 favorites on here are Teraflex, Full Traction, and probably Rubicon Express.

DUDE. You are going to get so many different answers to this. So I'll get the ball rolling. From my research, and needs, Old Man EMU 2" lift will give about 3" lift and is rated to be one of the best riding/trailing suspensions available.

First, consider if you are going to do any wheeling. It doesn't sound like you are going to be doing anything too extreme, so consider a 2.5" BB or a 2.5" lift with springs and shocks. This way you will avoid any driveshaft issues. Plus, must 2.5" lifts will lift the Jk overall 3 - 4 inches depending on bumpers, etc. A buddy of mine is running a TeraFlex 2.5" with springs and shocks, and got 4" of total lift front and 3.5" rear with all stock bumpers. Anyway, in my opinion, the absolute best lift is 4" Superlift springs with Bilstein 5100 shocks and a set of full adjustable control arms.

Brand wise, TeraFlex, Full Traction, and Superlift are all pretty good. TeraFlex probably has the best customer support of them all, and every time I've dealt with Superlift they have helped me right away and are a real pleasure to deal with. Can't say anything about Full Traction but I know they are high-quality lifts and seem to have good customer support.

Rubicon Express and Rock Krawler are both good as well, really most manufacturers you will read about on this forum are reliable.

Also, Old Man Emu is a little pricey but has a very good ride quality and build quality.

If I had to do it over again I would have gone full TeraFlex from the start.

That being said, I love my Superlift...

Hope this helps, you really can't go wrong, but again I would go with a 2.5" lift if I were you because it doesn't sound like you need anything super big...

Good luck!
