Default Oil Pan Skid Plate - Rancho

I just put on the Rancho oil pan skid plate - first mod. It's a simple install, but anyway - I thought that I would add a couple fresh pics for those that are considering it. I used the supplied silicone gasket material to adhese it to the oil pan and then used dropped ceiling wire, available at Home Depot or the like, as a backup safety wire connected to the engine/trans mount.

It's drying in the garage overnight.

I have it installed too. I haven't hit it yet, so I can't report how well it holds up, but it does hold on!

I used some JB Weld on the sides and at the top, but no safety wire. I was concerned that some plants/sticks/etc. may work up in there and tug on the wire.

Yeah, I always keep some around the house - good stuff! I don't think I used the whole tube(s), but well, maybe I did.

Just curious, what does Rancho ask for this? From all the posts it appears it does stay in place, but not sure anyone has shown it can take serious hits
