Default JK R&P Question

Do the TJ Rubicon D44's and JK Rubicon D44's use the same ring and pinion?

I see R&P listed for "Rubicon models" but no designation between TJ or JK...

No. The JK uses a ring and pinion that is stand alone to it's model. The JK Dana axles are of a different "metric" variety than any of the rest. I don't know all of the itty bitty specifics, but I know they are different.

No, the JK Dana 44s are heavier duty than the TJ. The pinion and carrier bearing diameters when up a good bit and the rear ring gear is no longer 8.5" like is been in the past. They are now 8.8". The front is still 8.5" The ring gear bolt diameters are up as well to 1/2" in the rear and 7/16" in the front.
