Default Detroit locker form tj in my JK???

Will this work? They are both Dana44 with 30 spline but I understand that the JK axles are completely different in every way??? Is this true or will it work?

will only work if you had 3.73 and lower in your TJ .

4:10 (which this is supposed to work with. He ran it with a 4:10) - is that what you mean or is there a fundamental difference?
