Default D Rings on stock bumpers - can you???

I thought I saw photo and a thread on here about someone that installed D Rings on the face of their front stock bumper. I looked and looked, but couldn't find it. Maybe I saw it somewhere else. Anyway, can this be done, but done so that you can be pulled out without ripping the D Rings out from where they are installed? My next mods are going to be bumpers, but that's not going to be for a little while since I just dropped a little over $3,000.00 into all my last mods. So until I can get the cash together for my bumpers I'm going to need some recovery points. I know I can just install hooks on the front and maybe a D Ring into the tow receiver on the rear. I just want something a little more beefy looking, but also be functional.
Can D Rings be installed on the top of the front stock bumper where the hooks are normally installed?
Anyway, if any of you know any other ways to install recovery points on stock bumpers let me know and post the photos.

Thanks

PureJeep makes some that will bolt right to the stock bumper mounts. You will have to figure out how to retain the stock bumper, though.

did mine on the rear...took a great deal of measuring, and a mess of spacers to keep from squishing the plastic bumper when tightening everything down.

Looks good, though...and is theoretically sturdy.
