Post What Gear Brand is good?????

I am looking to purchase some new gears (4:88s) for my jk and I see yukon gears and superior gears. Who is better or is there a better brand out there. Thanks for your input

Many people I talk to or off-road with have Superiors. I know that when I upgrade to 4.56 I'm going with Superiors. Hope this helps a little. I'm sure both brands are good though. I think Superior just has the edge in reputation.

They both are good brands, Superior had its issues with some of the early ones but all is good now.

We alos sell alot fo the yukons and have had zero issues.

I would DEFINITELY say superior is a no go. I have already gone through 2 sets of front 5.13 gears from superior. I rarely wheel and the first time my gears decided to explode in my axle, i was going 25mph on the road form my school. They just shredded to pieces... and then after replacing them (they did warranty them out for me which was a good thing) they busted to pieces AGAIN a month or so later.... Needless to say i am now running yukon. They would not warranty them for a second time, so i took my money elsewhere.

So far i have had no problems with the yukon.

499.95 shipped front front and rear with install kits and 599.95 shipped for front and rear with overhaul kits.

They both are good brands,
David, has the manufacturing situation changed?

The posts I've seen from you concerning this seemed to indicate that 'All' JK gears were made by the same company and simply reboxed...

If you have less than 10,000 miles the install kits will work for you anymore than that and I would get the overhual kit .
