Default Need opinion - Total height of Jeep after lift?

I’m trying to figure out how much the total height of my Jeep will increase after a lift, do these figures seem correct?

Current tire size = 31”

Lift Plus Tires

TeraFlex 4” w/full flex arms = 5.25”

BFGoodrich 37” KM2 = 37” minus 31” = 6” divided by 2 for tire diameter = 3”

Total height after lift and tires = 8.25”

I'd say between 7.5 and 8 depending on weight of bumpers, winch, etc. remember 37s aren't always 37" and lift height varies

I did the 4'' TF lift plus 37'' and it was ginormous... If you're worried about garage heighth, I can BARELY get mine in the garage.

Wish I had exact measurements, but beware that the 4'' lift typically gives you 5-5.5 actual inches.

That is a better question for teraflex themselves, but I would say it's 5.25 or more.

Did you have to regear right away with the 6 speed?

I originally didn't and didn't have too big of an issue. I now have the 5.13 and can tell a big difference.

If you're going to re-gear, get your lockers done at the same time, and if you hve the money, jump to the dana 60. Teraflex has a good deal on them right now.

You can run the stock gears for a while, just understand you gotta lay off the gas big time to help avoid undue stress on the driveline.

BTW - I didn't check to see where you are located, but costco and Discount have great deals on the 37' km2's right now. And be prepared to get a new back bumper and tire carrier as the 37's won't fit.
