Default Junkyard axles

How much work is involved to add JK brackets to older axles? Are there certain axles that would be easier to do this to? How about axle width, any issues here?

How wide are the stock JK axles?

Try this one:

And this one talks about axle width:

A quick search (in the upper right there...) will give you several more threads to browse.

ESP and BAS issues would be a problem. JK is wider than older Jeep models. Any axles can be cut down if they are too wide. It is expensive to cut down axles, add brackets, and computer sensors. It would be much easier to just buy one already set up for a JK. You could be the one that goes all out and starts us down the I made it myself trail. Take lots of pics if you do it!!!
