sitting at service department need advice
I had my jeep aligned yesterday for the first time since I put my lift, wheels and tires on and got a shimmy in the jeep after the service... Not a death wobble but its pretty noticable going 40 mph... So I checked the print out and they set my castor to 2.6 degrees or something low like that, in short I brought it back and they look at it and are telling me that when the lift was installed (2.5 teraflex bb and 1inch bl) they didn't install centric bolts to adjust the castor and that they can't adjust it to the 5.whatever degrees that it should be... As well, that I need a "upgraded heavy duty" steering stabilizer... I didn't install the lift myself, so does anyone know if these bolts were supposed to be included in the teraflex bb kit? Plus I know stealerships are always trying to get you to put on a new ss, should I do it in this case or are they bsing me... Sorry if this has been covered before but I'm sitting at the dealership writing this on my phone and couldn't find anything searching
If there's nothing wrong with the stabilizer, leave it alone. It's up to the task. If your caster is that low, you're going to need adjustable lower or upper control arms to correct it. Do NOT let them install the cam bolts. They are a bad idea.
For the control arms, call David at Northridge.
No, the BB does not include anything that allows you to readjust your caster. I believe the recommended solution is to get adjustable lower front control arms, which will allow you to reset your caster to the appropriate setting.

The poor camber while cause it to drive bad, any chance you have added bigger tires? Did the make any changes to you toe?

It doesn't sound right, I have a 2.5" OME lift, last weekend I broke my steering stabilizer while wheeling and drove home over 100 miles at an average speed of 75-80 mph with no wobbling at all. You shouldn't have to add anything with a 2.5" lift, it's certainly not a steering stabilizer problem... You can drive fine without one at all. I think it's something else that causing your problem.
Are you saying that the caster was lower before they adjusted it, or are you saying that it was lower before the lift.
Jeff
Sorry for the confusion, The castor before the alignment was lower then it is after they adjusted it, though the wobble started after they increased the castor
