Default Mopar bumper with rocker guard

I just finished grinding off the crush cans, adding d rings(from a Ruggid Ridge bumper), and then sprayed with 1 can of $7 Rocker Guard from Canadian tire!!!!! I love the look of it. Now to put it on the Jeep! And yes i am going to fill the bolt holes and paint them up. still needs another coat but I am loving the look so far.

I've notice with RR and a few other bumpers that they use bolt on plates for recovery points.... anyone ever had any issues with that? I would think they would rip right out with a good jerk. Usually clevis type mounts are welded on

I can't believe that you sprayed right over the bird crap that I had left on there for you!
It's a sad, sad day.

Looking good though.

Ya I was referring more toward the integrity of the bumper than the bolts... I mean grade 8 and above would be more that effective... just curious... it wasn't until the JKs that I started seeing this so much. Bumper looks great though

I am confident that the 4 bolts per shackle will hold. Yes I used grade 8 bolts. So the bumper will rip off the jeep first.thanks for the comments I can't wait to get it on tonight!

Those bolts go through the bumper. If you pulled hard enought to cause a failure, the bumper would probably not even be damgaged. Just the frame where it mounts or the bolts.
