Default BFG KM2 35's

Thinking of these for my 35's. What is everyone's opinion, experience with this tire? Got the Hankook Dynapro M/T right now in a 33x12.5 because they are cheap. They did take alot of weight to balance them properly and I know it'll be more with a 35. The BFG I'm sure is just a higher quality tire.

I almost bought those exact tires, but then I found out they have no siping and aren't that great in wet conditions, plus the tire shop I went to tried to F me in the A on the price. Thats all I can contribute.

Ya, I haven't driven a M/T tire that is awesome in rain and snow. The design of an M/T is almost strictly off road

It's not the KM2s but the BFGs that came on my Rubicon are pretty amazing. When I opted to buy the rubicon I was worried about the road noise, vibration, and road handling. I was pleasantly surprised. They aren't a highway tire, but they probably as good if not better than a lot of A/T tires in those categories. They are almost completely quiet. I suspect the KM2s will share many of those traits.

They are great! I really like the ones I have. Grab like glue from my experience. They aren't siped like stated before, but if that is an issue you can have the shop do it for you. Very little road noise, just the usual m/t sound.

Default Love my KM2's

Just remember, you'll have to get rims with 4.5" backspacing or throw on some spacers to keep from rubbing.

I have heard nothing but good things about the KM2s. That is why I chose them over all the other mud terrains out there.
I know they are great off-road, but was wondering what everyone's experience has been with them on road, specifically in rain and snow...will it be rough going for me? I remember reading an old post on here where some guy was running them and said they were great in rain and snow...especially compared to the old KMs. I'm getting my lift on the end of May and I'll be mounting my KM2s regardless but I want a better idea of what I'm in for. Thanks.

I had the Toyo MT's on my XJ and Goodyear MTR's on my Dodge. I was not a huge fan of the old BFG MT but I was really liking what I read about the KM2. So I pulled the trigger and put the KM2's on my JK and went straight to Moab. It was raining when I left and they were fine. No issues!

I must say I am VERY impressed with this tire. They flex great off road. They stuck well to the slick rock too! On road it rides great (it is about a 360 miles round trip). Not too loud either. I will be getting a set for my Dodge when my MTR's wear out.

Well....just to point some things out...

1. Smuhhh? No mud terrain tire is great in rain. And when it comes to Mud Terrains though? The BFG KM2 is one of if not the BEST in the rain of the mud terrains according to reviews/comparisons. Of course it's not great in the rain compared to a street tire though, NO mud terrains are as good in the rain as a street tire.

2. Doc D? Not sure what you are saying....BFG is the company not the make of tire. You had BFG KMs from the factory on a rubicon, the new tires are BFG KM2s.

I had the BFG KMs from the factory also, and now I own 35x12.50x17 BFG KM2s. The new BFG KM2s are AWESOME! I love them in EVERY weather condition and every terrain on the trail. They have survived STRONG abuse with sharp rocks jamming into the sidewall and they held with no issues. It's great!

For a Mud Terrain, they are GREAT on the road. They are quiet. They handle very well on the road. They will also outlast most other mud terrain tires in lifespan.

I have nothing but good things to say about them and have never heard a bad thing about them ever.

No siping? Never seen the need for it on my tires, and you can get it done almost anywhere if you really want. I've always handled snow/ice without problems.
