Once again, it looks like PUREJEEP is gonna be leading the pack with their newest release, the very first non-MOPAR heavy duty rear bumper for the Jeep JK Wrangler. To read their official press release and to see more shots of this awesome bumper mounted on a JK, click on the link below:

caleb,

Those stock bumpers are not weak, they are playschool plastic. The front and rear bumpers on the JK are blow molded plastic.

Playschool or Playdough?

Look like they form nicely to the shape of any rock they come into contact with

LOL! :o You're right, that is a Dana 35. Most likely the JK they are using to design their bumpers is a pre-production model (mule) that DC gives to a select few manufacturers. Tell you one thing, they'd best swap in something with a bit more beef before taking it out on the trail or else those 35's will have it for lunch

Well, from what I understand, those are in fact 35x13.50s on a 15" wheel with a 5x5 bolt pattern.

I would have liked to see the carrier integrated into the rear bumper. 1 YJ and 1 TJ both suffered from tailgate bracket distress...Nice looking bumper otherwise

The PJ tire carrier is now being produced, but I am not sure if it is shipping or not yet.
