Recalibrating speedo
Hi everyone I was just wondering if I should recalibrate my speedometer? I'm running 37s and heard that it would change the way the shift pionts are???????
I dont know I dont want to spend any $$$$ that I dont even really have. Can anyone tell me if they could feel a difference on performance maybe on the highway or anything at all....
Thanks alot for any info....

Yep, changing the shift points will be noticeable. And my opinion is that you should recalibrate anyway. If nothing else, it keeps you legal.
If money is tight, the AEV Procal has a ton of functionality for the price. Or move up to a programmer for some extra cash and get the performance mods too.

AEV Procal or the Hypertech Max Energy are the only options I'm aware of. Hypertech makes a lesser model through ProComp that is similar to the Procal, but I think it's more and does the same.
On a budget I'd go with a Procal, but if you want a little help go with the Max Energy. The power boost is nothing to write home about, but for me the improvement in the throttle response and the improved shifting made it worth awhile -- I don't know if the latter is addressed with the Procal.

How long have you had your 37s? Your speedo is way, way off. Have you been using a GPS to tell your mph?
Easiest, fastest and cheapest way is to buy the AEV procal.
I don't have any first hand knowledge on the Superchips Flashpaq.
I really liked my Hypertech Max energy and found it to be a nice addition, but it was pricier than the AEV. If you want a bit of extra performance, I'd suggest finding one used on the forum. You should be able to get a decent deal on it.
