Default Boomerang Tire Covers for JK

I've searched the forum for opinions on the boomerang rigid tire cover that quadratec is selling. Search results came back empty.

Does anyone have one, what do think of it. Worth the money as an alternate to the soft covers?

Beside trail damage/scratches I don't see anything negative about them. I want to get some sort of tire cover to keep the sun from dry-rotting the top of the tire.

Just rotate your tires a little more often and every so often slap on some 303 protectant onto the tires.

Just got off the phone with quadratec, seems they don't fit the 255/75/17 (aka 32x10) stock rubicon size tire, only the sahara and x sized tires.

I think it is a bit too 'fancy'.

in Ruby Kong's defense, when you live in the city, it's a good idea to protect your spare, Not so much from the elements, but from the a**holes.

Yeah thanks for the support, then we have to protect the cover with a lock then too! The soft tire covers might make a nice jacket.
