... what seems to be the best gians for dirveability? meaning its never gonna be a power house until you drop a Hemi in it, but programmers and all do they help withthe trans upshifting to early? I have good power, not great, not bad, just good. My biggest complaint is thetrans upshifting for no F'ing reason. Like climbing a low grade entrance ramp to highway, it will go into overdrive or 3rd when I need it to hold same gear a little longer.
Thanks for opinions or first hand experience.

To date I don't believe anyone who has the Superchips on this forum has reported anything less than moderate gains through the operating range. There are a few people who have been awaiting calibration files for their specific vehicles although I believe most of those have been resolved.
My personal feelings are that I primarily picked up low end torque and have been very happy. I previously ran the Hypertech and didn't have the same results. Seemingly there is a mixed bag of success stories with the Hypertech and an overall but limited sample size of performance gains with the SC Flashpaq. Additionally my experiences indicate that the Superchips plays a lot better with intake and exhaust upgrades than the Hypertech.

Hey N8, I had a good experience with the Hypertech, but I have also heard a lot of good things with Superchips. If you need to talk with somebody at SC, shoot me an email and I will get you a direct name and number!
Are you going to be near Daytona this month?

Below is an old thread, inwhich I was trying to explain my drive ability w/the auto trans...
I have an auto w/6k miles and counting...I think the engine is adequate, just dont like the way the auto trans operates even with the OD button off...
I'll try to explain it the best I can....
As I take off from "D" the JK seems to shift thru all the gears, but lets say at a steady speed of 35mph, the RPM drops to 1200 rpm and that's where the engine seems to lag..I either have to downshift to 2nd to keep the speed steady at 35mph or tap on the gas to increase the speed to get the RPM back up so the engine doesnt seem like its hesitating...
....
But dont get me wrong, I still love my JK

I have a 6 speed and from what I have seen from people posting on the Hypertech is that those who are happiest with them are in large automatic owners. While I'm definitely of the opinion there is more power to be had from the Superchips, I believe that what Hypertech does with shift points have made people happy with them. The Superchips Flashpaq does have upgraded shift points and shift firmness, but to date I haven't seen a post of someone who has ran both of them side by side or had experience with both.

.....JKr's with auto trans, please chime in on your results....

Okay, thanks for the info...I guess I will be waiting to see if there are any future posts of JK owners who have automatic transmissions that are running the SC & are seeing good results with the shift points/firmness before pulling the trigger into purchasing one...
